Yellow Goldfish

We probably sell more goldfish that anything else. Partly because they are such good value, and partly because they are easier to look after than some other more sensitive species.

This yellow strain of goldfish, have made a very popular impact on our sales. Not only do you get a great hardy species, but also a nice colour variation in your pond. This strain of goldfish need exactly the same care and attention as standard goldfish.

Goldfish in extreme cases can grow to a maximum of 18” (45cm) in length, however this is fairly unheard of in smaller garden ponds. They will generally reach fairly modest sizes around 6-8” (15-20cm).

Goldfish are a lot happier in small groups when they are small, but do not need to be in shoals as they get bigger. As a general rule, all small fish are more comfortable, and happier in small shoals.
