Air Pumps

Pond Air Pumps are a very beneficial addition for any pond. Not only do air pumps increase the oxygen content in the pond, thus helping the fish in the warmer months, they also greatly assist the development of filter bacteria. By adding an air stone to you biological filter, bacteria will reproduce at a far greater rate than without oxygen. If you do use an air pump in your pool, we would recommend raising the air stones in the cooler months, so not to move the warm water at the bottom of your pond.
