Opening Hours

The Ripples Online store is open Monday to Friday from 9:00am until 5:30pm throughout the year (excluding bank holidays). Sales calls will be answered during this time and voice messages can be left out of hours.

You will also need your credit or debit card details to process the order. Always include your telephone number and email address in case of queries.

For mail order fish purchases we only accept payment over the phone due to having to check varying stock level. Being livestock our stock levels fluctuate daily and we would not like to disappoint anyone if we let enabled fish purchasing directly through the website.

Delivery Schedule & Pricing

Product orders received before midday will, wherever possible and subject to availability, be despatched the same day. Most orders will be dispatched by courier, with a few exceptions on smaller items. Please allow up to five working days for delivery.

Fish orders always go on a next day 'fragile' delivery service, however, this does not necessarily mean that they will be 'next day' from the date ordered. We will advise delivery times over the phone during the ordering process.

Livestock delivery charges (Highlands, Islands and Further UK destinations) Unfortunately we are unable to deliver livestock to these areas as delivery could potentially take more than one day and the safety of our fish is paramount. If you are unsure please call us on 01952 201970 and we can check by postcode if we can deliver fish to your address.

Tax Charges And Currency

All prices quoted are in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include Value Added Tax (VAT), except books which are zero rated. VAT applies to all European Union (EU) countries and is currently set at 20% .We reserve the right to adjust our prices accordingly.

Description

We have taken great care to ensure that all descriptions and specifications of our products are correct. Whilst the colour reproduction of products on our website are close, slight variations may occur. Due to fluctuations beyond our control we reserve the right to alter prices or specifications without prior notice.

Payment Options

We accept all major credit and debit card except American Express.. For UK orders placed by post, you may also pay by cheque (please make payable to Ripples Waterlife). Cheque orders are not processed until the cheque clears with the bank, this takes ten working days.

Please bear in mind 'Ripples Online' is a trading name of 'Ripples Waterlife' and thus may appear on your bank or credit card statement as 'Ripples Waterlife'.

Restrictions

Some items we stock have age restriction. Livestock can only be purchased if the person is over the age of 16. We may ask for age verification before we can complete orders.

Grass Carp Restrictions

Unlike common and mirror carp or ornamental Koi, Grass Carp need running water to spawn and will leave a pond via an overflow or inflow to find these conditions given half a chance. The authorities are concerned that they could spread and establish breeding populations in the wild, which has resulted in restrictions on what sort of pond you can stock them into.

As a result we are licensed to sell them for introduction into Garden Ponds only.

A garden pond is defined as fully enclosed (no water running out of it), less than one acre in size, not fished and in the grounds of a residential property. If your water fits this description, we can sell them to you. We will ask you about this when you call. If your water doesn't fit in with this definition of a garden pond, then sadly we are not allowed to sell them to you.

Sale & Special Offers

All special offers and sale items are subject to availability, on a first come first served basis. Please note we are unable to accept returned sale items because they are end of line products and therefore discounted heavily for this reason.

Stock Availability & Back Orders

We strive to ensure that we always have adequate stock of all our items. However sometimes stock will sell faster than anticipated and we will replenish stock as quickly as we can. In this instance we will hold your order back until all items are ready to dispatch unless you direct us otherwise; we will keep you informed throughout. We will not send an item you have not ordered as a replacement for one you have unless you instruct otherwise. Ripples Online accepts no liability from our inability to supply goods due to lack of stock other than returning any payments made to you.

Returns & Exchanges

If you are not entirely satisfied with your product order or you wish to change it, we will gladly exchange or refund any unused items within 28 days or purchase.

Just follow these 3 easy steps:

- Simply call us on 01952 201970, between the office hours 9.00am - 5.30pm. Please be ready to quote your order reference or the postcode of the billing address.
- Using the same parcel that the goods arrived in, pack the item(s) to include all the original packaging and a copy of the invoice.
- Send the parcel back to us to the following address: Ripples Waterlife, Unit B2, Stafford Park 11, Telford, Shropshire, TF3 3AY

Please Note:

All goods are returned at your own risk and cost and we strongly recommend sending goods by a recorded delivery method.

In the unlikely event of receiving a livestock order where fish are dead on arrival we will require photos of the deceased fish allowing us to easily recognise the quantity you have lost. We will then proceed with a refund or replacement of these fish.

Sale Items

Goods which are discounted in a sale or other form of promotion are non-refundable however goods which are discounted can be returned for an exchange within 7 days.

Faulty or Incorrect Item(s)

In the rare event of an item(s) being faulty or not what you ordered please contact us as soon as you receive the goods on 01952 201970 (during office hours of 9:00 - 5:30). Please then post the item(s) back to us, following the guidelines above.

We will refund the cost of the postage to the value of standard delivery (we cannot refund additional postage charges above this) and we will organise the replacement or repair.
